Adelaide City Council elections are taking place in October/November this year.
If you rent or own property, you have a right to vote.
Key dates for the 2010 Local Government elections are as follows:

| Nominations to stand as a candidate | Open | Tuesday, 7 September 2010 |
| Nominations to stand | Close | Noon on Tuesday, 21 September 2010 |
| 2010 Ballot Packs mailed out | Monday, 25 – Friday, 29 October 2010 | |
| Close of voting | 5pm on Friday, 12 November 2010 | |
| Vote count | Saturday, 13 November 2010 |
